This website is run by Virginia Mitchell, Independent Shaklee Ambassador, Surrey, BC. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests go to hello@virginiamitchell.ca.
The contact form
When you send a message, the site collects your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your message, and any product list you built. It is sent by email to Virginia so she can reply. The site does not keep a separate copy in a database. The email also notes which page you sent it from and how you found the site (for example a search engine or an ad), with no personal details attached.
The email list
If you tick the box and sign up, the site stores your email address, the exact consent wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page you signed up on, and any campaign tags on the link you arrived from. This is kept in a database hosted by Cloudflare and is used only to send you Virginia's monthly wellness tips and occasional promotions. It is never sold or shared.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately. You can also email hello@virginiamitchell.ca to unsubscribe or to have your entry deleted entirely.
Analytics: PostHog
The site uses PostHog to understand which pages help people, including anonymous page views, clicks, and session recordings with form inputs masked. Your name, email, phone number, and messages are never sent to PostHog.
Google tags
The site uses Google tags (Google Ads and Google Analytics) to measure visits and whether ads lead to enquiries. Google may set cookies for this. You can manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
Spam protection
The contact and sign-up forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending them.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) you can ask what information the site holds about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent to emails at any time. Email hello@virginiamitchell.ca and Virginia will respond within 30 days.
